In our household, pun is king. And to that effect, it's not unusual to hear a dialog similar to this:
"I only have a few minutes, I have a meeting at noon"
"Oh, ok, my meeting isn't until Samech"

Only today, when trying to indicate my meeting is much, much later in the day, that I realized the Aleph Beit could actually work for a 24 hour clock.
